FreeSite lets you build a website of up to 7 pages, and you get a tremendous amount of value in the app, for free, without advertisements or hidden fees. My favorite feature is the Graphic Customizer, which has everything you need to design your website.

FreeSite is a simplified version of SimDif, and doesn’t include advanced features like ecommerce, POP SEO, and an AI assistant called Kai, which are offered in SimDif. You can read more about the extra features you can expect in our review of SimDif.

Just as in SimDif, you can create a website from start to finish from within the app, and the editor is intuitive and easy to grasp.

When you first login, you'll see a guide which clearly show what each navigation item means and what it is used for. Arrows and prompts clearly direct you through the main features, helping you to get comfortable with the layout.

The mobile editor features a clear, accessible menu in the header, providing three primary editing modes:

1. Pencil icon for content editing
2. Hand icon for repositioning blocks
3. Trash icon for deleting blocks

These 3 menu items are where you will spend most of your time when building your website.

Included with this free app, you also get access to simple visitor statistics – how many visitors your website received in the last 24 hours, 7 days and 5 weeks.

Block repositioning makes content placement effortless. Basic editing of fonts and colors is possible, but many of the more advanced customization options found in SimDif are not available. There are no custom call-to-action or social media buttons in FreeSite

Unlike SimDif, FreeSite does not include AI assistance, making it more suited for people who prefer straightforward, manual content creation.

Everything you need to edit the look and feel of your website can be found under the paint brush icon in the header. This will allow you to change fonts, colors, menu design as well as add header images and more. However, you are limited to a single fixed layout structure.

FreeSite offers basic yet helpful SEO tools, allowing users to set Page Titles (H1) and meta titles with the app providing simple, straightforward guidelines to improve search engine visibility.

More advanced SEO features, including POP SEO and Kai AI assistant which are offered in SimDif, are unavailable. This makes FreeSite suitable primarily for people who only need basic SEO functionality and whom website discoverability is not at the top of the list

Those needing more advanced features or additional pages can seamlessly switch to SimDif, with all the site edits you've made automatically synced, so that you can upgrade if you choose.
